Today was a mall kind of day, we literally spent the whole day in this HUGE mall, I think it is bigger than the mall of America! We didn't shop in a lot of stores, we just looked around a lot. I bought a few more things to wear to church too. We came home and Ligia had to go to school and I was on FaceTime with my dad, sister and niece. I heard about those crazy tornados and all of the hail that came down. I heard about all of the power outages as well..no fun! But it's good that it was cool so having no A/C wasn't too horrible! I am glad that everyone is safe and nothing horrific happened where there were a lot of deaths. I am still hearing about Vacation Bible School at my church, Cool Spring Baptist. I am SO GLAD it is another successful year!! Next year I will help out in every way that I can, I have now missed two summers..not okay! I miss the kids and all of the fun! I love seeing the kids smiling faces on our church's Facebook. It makes me happy that there are so many children again! That is definitely a praise!! As for me, I am still reading a lot of my Bible and having my quiet time with God in the evening and mornings. It's awesome to be able to look outside and see the busy street and gas station with the mountains in the distance. I just thank God for this opportunity EVERY DAY. I am so grateful for everything!! It was another fun filled day! More to blog soon!

Hi Pumpkin! Alot of homes were out of power after the storm came through on Mon. including the "Parr Barn". The weather was cooler so everybody slept without a/c and it was fine! Nay and Avery came over yesterday to save food from the fridge and then we met Kristen and the twins at Lewis Ginter for the Butterfly exhibit and to let the kids play at the water area! They set up sprinklers because the power was out, but, they loved it anyway. (What do 1 year olds know anyway?) The season pass is good all year so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy with BAPA. In other exciting news...dad hung the hummingbird feeder! I'm happy to watch for them to come eat. I am taking G-Mud to hair today, so Toys-R-Us is in my future! I love and miss you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi momma! I FaceTimed with Nay, Dad and BaPa yesterday, Nay said that you were out getting food. She gave me the update on the butterflies, she said Avery was not a fan..they kind of scared her. It's good that the weather we cool!! That's a good thing. Renee explained her "scary" moment in the storm to me..and all that hail..man oh man! She said she felt like she was in some kind of horror film! The water area is fun for the kids! That would be a fun auntie and bops outing for me to take her to! And you're right, one year olds don't care! Haha! I missed you on FaceTime yesterday, Nay said that y'all would call back but I guess BaPa got really tired, dad said that her last nap was at like 12:30 haha..goodness gracious! I guess when momma's home it doesn't really matter! Yay for the hummingbird feeder being hung! :)) How is gmud doing? I need to give her a call some time. I bet you liked your adventure to Toys-R-Us! I love and miss you too! THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE! Xoxo
