Day Fourteen

HAPPY JUNE EVERYONE! Today was the big day to leave for Gabriel and Carol’s wedding! It was a crazy start to my morning. Didn’t know we would leave only at 10:30am. I was thinking that it would be more like 6:00am. I was woken up and told to pack NOW because we are leaving in 10 minutes! Freak out mode quickly turned on and I was packed in less than that. LUCKILY I did not forget anything! We waited around for a good 45 min before actually leaving at 10:30am. The drive was in rain…the whole way to Sao Paulo! What was supposed to be only a 6-hour drive turned into an 8-hour drive! There was A LOT of sleeping and listening to music. The last portion of our drive was of good stories, cracking jokes and learning about Sao Paulo!  We had lunch in this restaurant that had buffet style food or order what you want food. It was quite delicious! We shopped after eating and everything was very expensive so I did not buy anything while I was at that little shop! We quickly made it to the hotel where there was a really long and complicated wait to stay in the actual room. But we made it! We were about to stay here and enjoy our stay! The room was unlike any other hotel room. Lofted bed with a double underneath! It was a little room but it wasn’t too uncomfortable (very surprising with 3 girls in one tiny room!). We made it to bed around 2am. It was a longggggg day! But it was worth the drive and being tired!
