Today Carol and Gabi came over for some lunch and then we were just hanging out at the house. Nothing much going on today, just a lot of relaxing! This evening we left for the mall around 5:30 to have some dinner and then Ligia brought Carol and I back to the house and I was able to FaceTime with my mom, dad, sis, and niece :). It was another great day here in Brazil! And I hope to have more pictures to post soon! More to blog about tomorrow!

Hey, I saw you today! I know we don't face time very well, but, I love having that availability. I try and imagine where you are calling from, and then I have questions to ask. Have you met any of the neighbors in the apartment building? How long has Ligia's family lived there? Do they have security in the lobby? (Like Megan's bldg. in PA?) Just curious, and thought you might want to include it in your blog. I love you, MOM

And yeah, y'all aren't very good at this but it's good to call 15+ times to see and continue conversation! :P And I'm sorry if I suck at posting pictures, they say it's just too dangerous to photograph everything without something happening to me or my camera. I will try though! Today, I took my camera just in case..but never had the opportunity to take photos. And I have not met any neighbors, I have only said hello and rode in the elevator with people from other floors. Ligia's family has lived in this apartment for 12 years. There isn't a "lobby" it's just a gated off tall apartment building with security at the front to monitor the street and who wants to come into the building. They usually know the residents by name and call up to the room if it's an unfamiliar face. It's very safe here in their apartment. Everything has parking garages and you never park anywhere for free like you do in America. It's very expensive to go anywhere for any amount of time. Thank you, and I plan on doing a blog (at some point) of all the things that are different from america and have pictures..I just need help so I am waiting for when Ligia has some time to help and to take pictures of all the different things. It will be my "summer project". :P Love you! And I love questions and reminders of what to blog so keep posting! It helps me know what you all at home want to know. Because I see and know most!! JUST ASK!!!
