Day Fifteen

Today we woke up at 7am to have breakfast and to make it to 25^th street where there is A LOT of shopping here in Sao Paulo. It is a lot like china town if you have ever been to New York City. These places had better fake everything than I have seen…ever. I was very tempted to buy one of everything but I knew that it was dumb to do that when I didn’t NEED IT…Right mom and dad?! ;) We did go to their favorite jewelry store and we found a ton of cute and cheap jewelry! After shopping, Ligia, Dan and Mae all went to have their makeup done. Ligia was first to have hers done and then she came back to the hotel to do mine! She did mine very quickly! In 15 min flat! (if that). She did my hair in 10 min. Once she did my hair she quick left to go with her mom and sister to get their hair done for the wedding tonight! Pai and Tiago were here getting ready for the wedding and we all rode together to get the girls at the hair salon! I got to see their beautiful hair and makeup! We drove only 2 blocks over to where Carol and Gabi were getting married. The Factory. And Ligia, Dani and Mae all were dressed and looking fabulous! The wedding was your normal, ceremony, eat, and party kind of wedding! It was a lot of fun with not many things that were different. The only thing that I have never seen before is “cutting the tie”. All of his friend would cut a piece of his tie and then give him money. It was very crazy and fun! It was just the guys that did it though! They did not have a cake cutting or a first dance. It wasn’t that formal. I will have pictures to post soon! It was a very fun and eventful night! I really enjoyed my first Brazilian wedding! I met A LOT..If not ALL of ligia’s family and we are partied together! The food was FANTASITC and the music was fun to dance to! Gabriel has some really really crazy dancing friends! We all had a really awesome time together, a lot of laughs and A LOT ofpictures! The blog post will have a lot of pictures added to it as soon as possible!
