Day Three
Today did not start out at all like Ligia was expecting, we woke up with enough time to get to the airport to catch our 10:30 flight out but the traffic was HORRIBLE!!! We left the house at 8am and it's only a 30 minute drive to the airport and we got to the airport by 10:05am. Ligia was not happy about all of the traffic and we really were not happy with the TAM Flight company. We WILL have that man fired!! It was not okay how they treated us. Anyways, long story short..we found a flight (no money lost) and we made it to Curitiba! I was so so so so so so so happy to see Ligia's parents again..11 months is way too long! I love it here in Brazil with them, they treat me so wonderful and they enjoy my company just as much as I love theirs! And I love being with Ligia again!! I am so glad that the plane worked out and that we were able to catch another flight out even though we missed the first one! We came to Ligia's apartment and I met one of there friends Katherine and Tiago! It was really nice to meet them finally and to meet her brother for the first time too! I have decorated some of my room here to make it more like home and to see all of my friends and family every day here in Brasil! We bought a lot of things from the super mercado (super market in portuguese). Ligia has night school from 7-11pm so I was with her parents most of the evening. We have fun talking about everything, they are so funny! It is great to be in their company!! I will post more tomorrow! That is really all that we did today so more to come soon!! Thank you for reading and for keeping me and my travels in your prayers! I pray that God will have many opportunities for me to serve others around here in Curitiba!

So glad you are "home", and settling in! I keep forgetting to ask you about the weather??? What is Winter like in Brazil"? We are having rain, but, the weekend is going to be clear and beautiful for Manda's wedding! {We'll have the I Pad available so we can face/time.}I'm happy we can ship items for the family! It's the least we can do to thank them for opening their home to you. I will pull together whatever you need also! F.Y.I Just heard on the news, Microsoft has a new social website so.cl. I have NO clue what that means,but,you probably already know.I love you alot!
ReplyDeleteOi mãe <3 I am so glad to be HOME!! In Brasil of course! And weather here is like our fall..not too hot, not too cold, perfect bonfire weather! It was really rainy today though so it got chilly but NOT freeeeezing like they were making it sound!! And GOOD! I am so glad that it will be beautiful for her wedding! And YES! Can I call Manda on her wedding day and talk to her?????? I would LOVE to congratulate her on her big day, even though I can't be there! And YES..I bought all of it for him and he is very grateful that we are doing this. THEY ARE SO SWEET, MOMMA…….I love them so much! <3 And weird…I haven't heard of that, I will have to check that out! You know, here in Brasil, we don't get American news :P hahaha..I don't know how new the software is but I will find out! That is good to know for the future! LOVE YOU LOTS! Thank you for the posts!
