Sleep is a good thing! I have needed to catch up on lost hours of sleep, I woke up this morning at 11 (10am in America). I had breakfast..but not really breakfast. More like lunch!! I had a ham and cheese sandwich. Very different from our sandwiches in America, I love their food so much more. It is so much healthier than what we eat. After our breakfast lunch was served. The two biggest meals of the day, most Brazilian families do not eat dinner. We ate rice and beans, broccoli and ground beef with mashed potatoes baked on top. It was all very delicious. It has been a really relaxing day, I was able to FaceTime with my mom and my niece Avery. She is getting so big, I miss my BaPa girl so much! After FaceTime, Ligia and I went to the mall and walked around before picking up Dani from school. Tiago was over and he was doing homework and when we came home Ligia and Tiago bought Pastel for all of us to eat. If you have ever been to a chinese restaurant where they have those noodles that you put in your soup, that's what the breading was. It was very good!! You can order Pastel with either cheese filling, ground beef filling or both. I ate the cheese filling! It was delicious! I look forward to eating more Pastel while I am here! Ligia and Tiago have night classes every night so I am here at the house and doing laundry and cleaning my room! So unlike Rachel Saunders! I KNOW!!! :) I am growing up! (mom this is for you). I will post a picture of Curitiba's sunset! It was just beautiful! I love it here so much!! More to be posted tomorrow!

I loved seeing ya'll today! Avery had a busy and exciting day with thunderstorms and bubbles! She is soooo smart and enjoys LIFE! It sound like you are enjoying LIFE too. Sights, sounds, tastes, and don't forget shopping! Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez are battling it out on American Idol and a 77 year old man on America's Got Talent, just sang an original rap - "Whatcha Gonna Do"(kinda like Pants on the Ground)VERY CATCHY! You're all caught up now, and I love you! and Miss you.

Hahah Lady Gaga…..kinda funny!! :P And YES, I am very much enjoying life! I am very blessed to have this opportunity and I can't thank God and YALL enough for having this chance to experience Brazil!! And OH MY GOODNESSSSS!! They are both so great! Who do you think is going to win?? I think Jessica will win. Her voice is SO FREAKING GOOD!! Phillips is good too but I think Jessica has more range in music choices. And oh no! What is up with all these old men singing crazy songs lol! And good! My life is all posted to the blog! We are going shopping today too so I am excited! Haha :) I love it here and I couldn't be happier!! :) They are so good to me! And they treat me like family!! Love and miss you momma! Give hugs to everyone for me. OH AND I called Grandma last night and I was like hi grammy! And she said hiii and I said do you know who this is? And she said Renee?! And I said NO RACHEL! And she was like ohhh HI RACHEL! :) she was so excited that I called. She said she figured Renee would call her since I couldn't and I told her about the app (she acted like she knew!) She isn't that hip :P. But anyways, it was really good to hear her voice. I miss her a lot and I miss our Tuesday and Thursdays! I told her I would try and calling her on Thursday but I can't make any promises cause I don't know what I will be doing. She understood!! Okay, that's all!! LOVE YOU, MISS YOU! XOXO
