Today was rise and shine at 6am to catch the bus to Paraguay at 8am. It's really dirty there (a cross between Afghanistan and China town) so we ate A LOT so that we didn't have to eat while we were there. We were there from 9am until 3pm. We loaded back into the van and went to the hotel to rest for 30 minutes before going to Argentina. Something that is very dangerous about this body of water that divides Paraguay from Brasil is that there are a lot of sex trafficking. The sad part is that police and officials are aware but nothing is being done. Daniela was telling me this and my heart was hurting. This makes me so sad that nothing is being done. While is Paraguay, I literally felt like I was in a movie..it was SO different from what I am used to. We walked out into the streets and it was filth and people everywhere! It was a great experience with a lot of differences in culture and language. I feel trilingual! I can understand Portuguese and Spanish and I can speak English fluently haha :) we had dinner in Argentina at a restaurant called Angelo Café, we had pizza and Dani ate steak! It was a lot of fun today! I am so tired but it was totally worth it! More to post soon!
